Aidan Dayton named Gatorade Utah State Soccer Player of the Year

Maple Mountain soccer player Aidan Dayton has been named Gatorade Utah State Boys’ Soccer Player of the Year.

“Dayton is smart and creative in his offense,” said Shane Ferrin, head coach at Spanish Fork High. “He’s intuitive on defense and he brings his entire team up with his significant effort and positive attitude.”

The 5’11” junior plays defender and midfielder positions. He has maintained a 3.79 GPA while playing on a Golden Eagles team that is currently 12-1. He is also an active, positive community member who is a peer tutor at Maple Mountain and who has participated in extensive humanitarian work.
