Maple Ridge students receive pumpkins from Harward farms

On October 26th, Maple Ridge Elementary students each received a pumpkin domated from Harward Farms. Teachers were able to use these pumpkins to teach about agriculture and other math and reading concepts(i.e. find the average weight, circumference, number of seeds, etc.). Maple Ridge faculty and students would like to thank the Harward family for their generous donation to our school.

Maple Ridge students learn about opera

Maple Ridge Elementary students learned more about opera as members of the group Vocal Dimensions visited the school on October 20th. Vocal Dimensions performed from the students, and involved them in re-enacting the story of The Three Little Pigs.
