Mapleton Ready: Survival Psychology

by Derek Haynie.

Mapleton Ready’s January preparedness seminar will be on Survival Psychology. The seminar will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017, 7pm, at the LDS Mapleton Stake Center (970 N 400 E).

Surival Psychology may well be the most important topic we’ve covered. We believe living ready is far and away more about what you know and share than merely “the stuff” you own.

Learn what most of the greatest survival stories have in common that is all too often overlooked. More importantly, learn how these same skills and mindsets are vital to happiness in our everyday lives and in rearing our families.

Presenter One, Jim Salisbury was one of the original founders of The Ascent Companies that are now recognized globally as leaders in reforming even the most troubled youth through their therapeutic wilderness programs and residential treatment centers. He’ll be sharing the essence of their discoveries, lessons learned and most importantly how we too can better prepare our own families for just about anything.

Presenter Two, Todd Spaulding, is a nationally recognized Clinical Social Therapist, and is currently the Clinical Director for Oxbow Academy.  Todd has a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from BYU, is EGALA Level 1 certified and is a CSAT® (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist).  He will be sharing the startling facts along with practical proven solutions that strengthen families.

FREE WORKSHOP – EVERYONE IS INVITED

(YOU’RE WELCOME EVEN IF YOU DON’T LIVE IN MAPLETON)
